   1. Choose the Right Equipment: Use your smartphone (iPhone or Android) to take a snapshot quickly and easily. Alternatively, a DSLR camera works, too, but you’ll need to transfer the photo to your device afterward.
       
   2. Set Up the Right Environment: Find a plain, light-colored background such as a cream wall or a neutral bed sheet. (It’s okay if you can’t find a suitable background – we can remove it for you at the photo processing stage.) Also, proper lighting is essential – natural daylight is ideal, so position yourself near a window. Avoid sharp or uneven lighting that can distort the photo.
       
   3. Prepare for the Photo: Stand straight, with your head and shoulders aligned. Keep your expression neutral – mouth closed, eyes open, and avoid smiling. Look directly at the camera and ensure no objects or people are in the background. Wear neutral-colored, casual clothing and keep accessories to a minimum.
       
   4. Take the Photo: If you’re taking it yourself, make sure the arms holding the camera are not visible. Alternatively, use a tripod or ask someone to take the photo for you. You can take multiple shots to choose the best one (ensure that it’s well-lit and that your face is fully visible without any distractions).
       
   5. Upload Your Photo: Once you have your image, upload it to our PhotoBooth Online tool. We’ll automatically process it – crop, resize, and remove the background (if needed) so that it meets ID photo standards.
